Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including consultations, diagnosis, treatment and medication prescriptions.
* Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
* Participate in regular clinical meetings and continuous professional development activities.
* Contribute to the overall growth and development of the practice.
* Build strong patient‑doctor relationships and promote preventive healthcare measures.
* Uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.
* Mentor medical students, junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
* Participate in educational initiatives such as teaching sessions and workshops.
Essential Experience
* Clinical experience providing primary healthcare services across various settings.
* Proficiency in conducting consultations, diagnosing, treating illnesses and prescribing medications.
* Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with patients and colleagues.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Patient‑centred approach and ability to support patients in self‑management of long‑term conditions.
Desirable Experience and Skills
* Experience in teaching and training medical students, junior doctors or other healthcare professionals.
* Leadership abilities, including managing specialised services or piloting schemes.
* Interest in engaging in research projects or innovative healthcare initiatives.
* Familiarity with emerging technologies and their integration into clinical practice.
* Alignment with the practice’s mission, values and strategic direction.
Qualifications
* GMC registration with a licence to practise.
* Completion of specialty training in General Practice (MRCGP).
