Locum Consultant Diagnostic Neuroradiologist
We are seeking to appoint a Locum Consultant Neuroradiologist at Nottingham University Hospitals. This post supports the increasing local and regional demand for neuro‑imaging during this time.
The successful applicant will share responsibility with 14 Diagnostic Neuroradiologists and 4 Interventional Radiologists for all aspects of neuro‑imaging across our Trust, with possible future expansion to other trusts within the regional network.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing neuro‑imaging services across NUH and regional partner sites, including MRI, CT, ultrasound and plain film examinations.
* Participating actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical governance.
* Contributing to neuro‑imaging services at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham Treatment Centre and surrounding district general hospitals on a rota basis.
* Supporting the planned opening of a Community Diagnostic Centre in the city centre (2025) and, where required, rotating to this location.
* Providing specialist on‑call coverage, including weekends, as part of the Neuroradiology and Head & Neck Radiology teams.
Location: The post will be primarily based at the QMC campus but may require occasional travel to peripheral hospitals.
