Are you a motivated sales professional with experience in managing clients from initial contact through to delivery? We’re representing a well established business in Newark who are seeking a passionate Sales/Business Development Executive to drive revenue through trade partnerships and sponsorship opportunities across multiple projects. This is a full time office based position with the occasion travel to other locations so you must have your own transport. Competitive base salary of £28k-£30k plus bonus for new business converted. You will take full ownership of the cycle - from strategy and lead generation through to project delivery and on-site relationship management. This role is a mix of Sales, account management and project coordination. Key responsibilities: * You will take full ownership of sales, from the initial outreach, lead generation and pipeline development to closing deals and managing client relationships. * Act as the main primary contact for all trade and sponsorship partners- before, during and after key projects to maintain relationships with clients. * Develop engaging content and promotions to support commercial revenue growth. * Drive sponsorship and membership growth by creating proposals and actively secure new clients to meet and exceed revenue targets. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets (ideal background in B2B, events, or media sales) You will be a natural people person with strong negotiation skills who thrives on building and maintaining relationships.
