The Department of Law and Criminology at Aberystwyth University is looking to appoint a Bilingual Lecturer in Law who will contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research activities in Law in both Welsh and English. The successful candidate will accordingly have excellent communication skills in both Welsh and English.
We are particularly interested in candidates who are able to teach the following subjects bilingually: criminal law, land law, tort law and equity.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in law (or cognate subject) and will have experience of teaching law through the medium of both Welsh and English. You will be able to work as part of a team and independently.
Candidates applying for this role will be expected to contribute to the development and delivery of modules and programmes at undergraduate level; to the pastoral care of students; to such reasonable administrative duties as may be allocated to them and to the monitoring and maintenance of pertinent quality standards.
