About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, self‑driven, and agile individual to lead the Flexible Packaging Category in EMEA. You will develop regional category strategies, lead local execution and partner with technical teams to influence multi‑functional stakeholders to deliver winning solutions.
Core Responsibilities
* Develop category strategy and lead implementation plan.
* Manage supplier relationships within focus area.
* Provide input to global category strategy based on market dynamics, supplier landscape, and business needs.
* Drive global and regional sourcing events, working with Agile Squads.
* Lead execution of category strategic initiatives.
* Coordinate with regional business stakeholders on category needs and strategy (e.g., collect business requirements).
* Support creation and maintenance of category knowledge and processes.
* Monitor supplier performance indicators and initiate supplier reviews as required to drive improvement.
* Ensure compliance to K‑C Policies and internal controls.
* Build trust and credibility with suppliers and stakeholders through integrity, commitment, and results orientation.
* Maintain an effective business relationship with all suppliers and stakeholders.
* Support and mentor regional buyers, providing guidance on category strategy, sourcing activities and supplier management.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, or a related discipline.
* 5+ years of experience in Procurement, preferably category management.
* Strong analytical, business acumen, and communication skills.
* Excellent project management, process improvement, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to work independently in a heavily matrixed organization.
* Travel up to 25% of the time.
