This is an excellent opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) keen to broaden their experience, as well as experienced educators looking for a new teaching environment.

Role Responsibilities (Long-Term / Permanent)
* Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Encourage students to explore key historical events, themes, and perspectives
* Help learners develop critical thinking, analysis, and evaluation skills
* Differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities, including SEND
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to support student achievement

We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently working towards it
* Strong subject knowledge in History
* Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
* A passion for bringing history to life in the classroom
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
