Live in Houseman Job in London
An experienced Butler/Houseman is required to look after a formal residence in London. The family have homes in the countryside and Europe and travel is required between 3-5 months a year with the family. The family include 3 older children and 2 dogs. The residence is over 6 storeys and you will be required to wear a uniform.
A housekeeper is also employed at the property in London.
Duties:
1. Shopping and running errands
2. Butler duties
3. Liaising with contractors
4. Occasional animal care
5. Driving duties
6. Light gardening (watering plants, sweeping patios and courtyards)
7. Household maintenance duties such as changing lightbulbs, checking on boilers etc
8. Swimming pool maintenance
9. Travelling with the family approximately 3-5 months a year
10. Security
The ideal person will be energetic, proactive, team players and happy to travel abroad. Experience working in private households is essential.
Start: ASAP
Accommodation: lower ground floor bedroom ensuite with a separate entrance. The kitchen is shared with the housekeeper who also resides in the London residence. No pets.
Working days: Monday to Friday with some weekend work when the family are in residence
Hours: 8am – 6pm
Salary: £50,000 GPA
