Lead Electrical Project Manager

We are assisting our client who is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Project Manager to take ownership of large-scale electrical packages on major projects. This role will be responsible for driving electrical delivery from early pre-construction through to successful completion, ensuring technical excellence, commercial performance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all electrical aspects of projects from pre-construction, design development, and planning through to installation, testing, and commissioning.
Oversee electrical project teams and subcontractors, ensuring coordinated delivery with mechanical and construction disciplines.
Manage programme, budget, and procurement for electrical works.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company standards, and client specifications.
Provide technical leadership, problem-solving, and value-engineering solutions where required.
Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and ensure project expectations are met.
Contribute to strategic planning, innovation, and continuous improvement within the electrical division.
Requirements
Significant experience as an Electrical Project Manager within an M&E contractor environment.
Strong technical expertise in electrical building services systems (power, lighting, controls, fire alarms, etc.).
Demonstrable track record delivering electrical projects in commercial offices, laboratories, or data centres.
Ability to manage high-value electrical packages from £10m+.
Strong commercial acumen, with experience of variations, forecasting, and contract management.
Exceptional leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
Relevant qualifications (Degree/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent).
