Management Accountant Job – Purity Brewing Co.
Purity Brewing Co. is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our growing finance team at our brewery in Alcester, Warwickshire.
Founded in 2005 on a working farm in the Warwickshire countryside, Purity Brewing produces a portfolio of award-winning craft beers distributed across the UK. As part of an expanding drinks group, we are investing in people, systems, and processes to support long-term sustainable growth.
This is a senior, hands-on finance role responsible for leading the monthly management accounts process, financial reporting, and providing commercial insights that support operational and strategic decision-making in a fast-moving FMCG manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities – Management Accountant
* Prepare and own the monthly management accounts process.
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
* Prepare accruals, prepayments, and journal postings.
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
* Analyse costs, margins, and KPIs to support commercial decision-making.
* Manage stock accounting and margin analysis within a manufacturing environment.
* Support year-end accounts preparation and audit processes.
* Provide financial reporting and insights to operational and senior management teams.
* Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function.
Management Accountant Requirements
We are looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant with experience in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Management Accountant, Finance Manager, or Senior Accountant
* Strong Excel and financial systems skills
* Experience preparing management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Highly Desirable
* Experience in FMCG, brewing, beverages, or manufacturing finance
* Experience with stock accounting and margin analysis
