Registered Manager Children's Home in Kidderminster Shropshire DY14 We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to run our new 2 bed property. Supporting up to 2 children /young adults with EBD and complex behaviours. The organisation will welcome input and suggestions regarding Statement of Purpose. You will be offered full support and be encouraged to progress within the company. You will have the option to oversee a second 2 bed home in the future if you wanted this option.( increase of salary and extra bonus) We are also happy to speak to experienced Deputy Managers looking for their next challenge. Salary Benefits and bonus of Registered Manager * Salary for DM to go to RM will be £45k * Salary for Experienced RM will be £50-£60k * 36 days holiday * The Management Bonus Scheme takes into consideration a range of KPIs from inspections, audits, staffing, finances, training, annual leave, sickness and more. Meeting targets in all these areas will result in a performance bonus of up to £7k per year. The better you do the bigger your bonus. * There will also be a Registration bonus of £500. * There will be extra training and courses including DDP level 1 and 2 arranged for you. Registered Manager Skills and abilities * Ability to demonstrate reasoning, numeracy, literacy and technology skills to required standard. * Ability to work as a team, working closely with colleagues and other agencies. * Ability to solve problems. * Able to work within the principles of the Children’s Act. * Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Child Protection Issues and Procedures. * Sound knowledge of Children’s Homes procedures and relevant issues. * Ability to exercise authority. * Proven leadership and management abilities. * Excellent communication skills – both verbally and written. Registered Manager knowledge and experience. * At least 2 year working experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a Registered Children’s Home where the rating of their home is good to outstanding * A minimum of two years’ experience at senior level in a Children’s Home. * Experience working with Children who have Mental Health, Emotional & Behavioural difficulties * Have a very good understanding of the children’s homes regulations and quality standards, 2015 * Have good knowledge and experience working as a designated safeguarding lead in children’s residential home (s) * Registered Manager qualifications * The Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services (or you are willing to work towards this) Or NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care (Children’s Pathway) combined with a Leadership and Management Qualification * Have a good understanding of PACE For more information about this Registered Manager opportunity contact Mick Hull Fieldview Care Recruitment Solutions
