Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Community Assistant to join our small team in providing support and care to vulnerable adults in their own home.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and a passion for assisting residents with their daily needs. Past experience can be through personal situations, and all training is provided. More than anything, we are looking for warm, friendly individuals who fit the family feel culture of the company.
Duties:
* Provide person-centred, high quality support with daily activities and personal care for vulnerable adults in their own home.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members
* Drive residents to appointments or outings when necessary
* Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to care
* Ensure the well-being and safety of residents at all times
Requirements:
- Proficient in English language
- Possess a valid driving licence
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and colleagues
- IT skills for maintaining digital records and documentation
