A vacancy has arisen for a Trainee Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our highly skilled and professional team. The role involves supporting the Regional Commercial team in achieving regional and Group Business plan objectives, budgets, and growth targets by participating in commercial activities and technical matters. The primary goal for this role is to develop knowledge, skills, and behaviors aligned with the relevant qualification and professional discipline, in accordance with the career development plan.

Main Responsibilities
* Assist the commercial team following group policies and processes.
* Manage relationships with subcontractors, housing associations, and external partners.
* Help determine and agree on site start programs and assist with commercial matters for new and existing developments.
* Participate in site visits to current, new, and potential sites to support the future of Gleeson Homes.
The Ideal Candidate
* Grade 4/C or equivalent in Maths and English.
* Knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Good organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Numerical literacy and good literacy skills.
* A desire to work collaboratively and progress within the team.
