Main duties of the job
We are pleased to advertise for a Band 7 Paediatric Practice Development Nurse in our ED.
Our department sees over 600 patients a day and is one of the busiest departments in London. We are a "Good" rated department on our journey to "Outstanding" and seek exceptional nurse leaders to join us.
We are looking for someone to lead the practice development aspect of our paediatric ED team of nurses and healthcare support workers, empowering them to provide outstanding care. The role involves leading the frontline to ensure safety and quality at all times for our community and team. We seek an experienced paediatric ED nurse who understands the complexities of ED nursing, is willing to push boundaries, advocate for nursing, teach clinical practice, and create excellent outcomes and service.
You will join a well-established and welcoming nursing team and will be supported by the Matron team with opportunities for development and education.
