Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or just starting out in your teaching journey and looking to have a positive impact on the future generation.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career in Education and work with pupils who require extra support within the classroom. The role will begin in January 2024 and will be a full-time position.
Experience and Qualifications
* Experience in a Primary or Early Years setting in a support role.
* Ideally, have previously supported children with Special Education Needs in an Mainstream or SEN setting. .
* Be able to remain calm and objective when presented with challenging behaviour.
* Be enthusiastic and work well within a team, as well as use your own initiative.
* Have knowledge of the National Curriculum and can adapt the learning where necessary.
Your responsibilities
* Assist the class teacher with general classroom management and preparation.
* Support children within the classroom, specifically those with SEND.
* Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis, as well as supporting groups of children.
* Leading activities focusing on different areas of learning and development.
* Follow instructions from the class teacher and work with other Teaching Assistants to ensure a smooth-running classroom.
