The purpose of Senior Care Assistant role is to deliver and lead in the delivery of person-centred care, to meet our care home residents' physical, emotional, social, nutritional, cultural, and spiritual needs. Working with the wider care home team this role contributes to a holistic service that promotes the individual's dignity and independence and works within the regulatory and legislative frameworks. This role deals with more complex care needs and will be required to lead a shift (cover for House Lead) on occasion).
Hours: full time roles available
Pay: £14.05 basic per hour, plus weekend enhancement, where applicable.
The role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you get to support and deliver care to our residents, by assisting them with their daily needs. Building strong relationships is the key in this role, supporting their health and well-being.
Training and development
You will get all the support and training needed to, if you wish, become a Senior Care Assistant and to work under guidance from our Registered Nurses, carrying out more complex care activities, as well as taking more responsibility for residents around the home.
