Role Overview:
Endur Tech Engineer to work on Front and Mid Office elements for our Power Trading team. This role involves working in the power sector related to trading and managing power generation assets, including wind, solar, batteries, and CCG power stations. The team supports systems that enable trading decisions, trade execution, and risk management. Responsibilities include implementing operating models for asset management, integrating new systems and data feeds (e.g., national grid, power auctions, weather forecasts) into existing trading and risk management systems (ETRMs), with primary focus on Endur Openlink.
Responsibilities:
* Implementing and extending features in OpenLink Endur.
* Working on Physical and Financial Power and Gas Markets.
* Leading and supporting other Business Analysts on projects.
* Working across trading floor areas, with focus on Front and Mid Office.
* Representing non-linear instruments in a Commodity/Energy Trading environment within Endur.
* Collaborating with Traders and Quant developers on option pricing models, including complex cross-commodity options.
* Configuring Endur for deal lifecycle, confirmations, settlement invoicing, and scheduling.
* Problem-solving within change control mechanisms.
* Understanding Endur reporting, risk simulation, and modules like APM, TPM, DMS, Connex, EOD workflows.
* Managing Endur deployment, including CMM import/export and cloud DevOps.
* Elaborating requirements and designing solutions with business analysts and traders.
* Implementing testing regimes to ensure quality.
* Working within a hybrid team, utilizing Scrum methodology when appropriate.
* Communicating effectively across complex environments and stakeholders, including senior executives.
* Familiarity with analytical tools, methodologies, and best practices.
* Applying structured analytical skills.
* Experience with Agile delivery.
* Knowledge of global power markets.
* Experience with complex contracts, power purchase agreements, and deal modelling.
* Power asset optimisation experience.
* Power tolling agreements modelling experience.
