Contract Manager Facilities Management Glasgow - 50-55K plus Car allowance / Company car
A leading facilities management provider is currently seeking a Contract Manager to join their team based in Glasgow. This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week, offering a competitive salary, car or car allowance, bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and internal procedures across stakeholder groups.
Manage health, safety, environment, and quality (SHEQ) risks through effective use of RAMS, PPE, training, and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel, clients, and users.
Build effective working relationships with operational teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and business partners to drive performance.
Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with the client and associated organisations.
Oversee multi-site service delivery, ensuring collaboration and resource optimisation.
Create and manage a clear business plan for the contract and ensure alignment with commercial objectives.
Monitor and control KPIs and SLAs, identifying opportunities to add value across service delivery areas.
Ensure all mobile and field personnel adhere to contractual service levels and performance targets.
Support teams in delivering both PPM and reactive works to the required standards and timescales.
Take accountability for the contracts financial performance, ensuring regular audits and reviews are conducted and escalating any compliance risks as necessary.
Lead and develop direct reports through structured training, mentorship, and regular performance reviews.
To be considered:
Proven experience in contract management within the facilities management sector
Solid understanding of building services and associated regulations
PFI (Private Finance Initiative) experience is desirable
Technical background in M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) services
Calm and solutions-focused under pressure
Relevant qualifications in Health & Safety, Water Systems (Legionella HSG274), and/or M&E
Experience using CAFM systems
Valid UK drivers licence
Asbestos awareness
Confident communicator capable of working with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team
Flexible and adaptable to change
