Temporary ER/People Specialist Location: Warwickshire - on-site office based with scope to move to a hybrid model Job Type: Temporary (with potential for permanent placement) We are seeking an experienced ER/People Specialist on a temporary basis to join a Warwickshire based team on a temporary basis, with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining positive employee relations and fostering a productive and harmonious work environment. The successful candidate will manage employee grievances, ensure compliance with employment laws, and promote fair and consistent application of policies and procedures. Day-to-day of the role: Develop and implement strategies and programs to foster positive relationships and a productive work environment. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and provide guidance on employee relations matters. Investigate and resolve employee grievances through thorough and impartial investigations. Mediate discussions between employees and to resolve conflicts and promote effective communication. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance understanding and awareness among employees. Analyse employee relations data and trends to recommend proactive solutions. Conduct exit interviews, analyse feedback, and recommend improvements. Liase and support and legal teams to ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies. Monitor employee morale and engagement, proposing initiatives to improve satisfaction. Provide day-to-day HR and administrative support, ensuring smooth operations within the HR department. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an ER/People Specialist or similar role. Ability to work in a standalone role In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills. Ability to conduct thorough investigations, maintaining confidentiality and integrity. CIPD or similar qualification or working towards.
