Location: Chesterfield (with travel across the organisation as required)
Salary: £30,000 – £33,280 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Your Role
As a Health & Social Care Trainer, you will:
20. Deliver engaging induction sessions for new recruits (covering safeguarding, medication, autism, CPI)
21. Provide refresher training across our services to maintain compliance and best practice
22. Deliver CPI foundation, advanced, and emergency courses across multiple sites
23. Support managers and teams with tailored training solutions to meet service needs
24. Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, ensuring continuous improvement
25. Keep up to date with legislative changes and incorporate them into training content
26. Collaborate with internal teams to design innovative learning materials
27. Travel across our organisation to deliver training (driving licence and own car required)
What We’re Looking For
28. Proven experience in Health & Social Care training or a similar role within the care sector
29. Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Trauma-Informed Care
30. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of legal and professional frameworks, including Restraint Reduction Network and Human Rights legislation
31. CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification – foundation and advanced (preferred)
32. Experience delivering induction and refresher training across multiple care topics (safeguarding, medication, autism, CPI)
33. Familiarity with adult learning principles and ability to adapt training styles to different audiences
34. Excellent communication and presentation skills
35. Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively
36. Empathetic, approachable, and committed to improving care standards
37. Driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential for travel across sites)
Desirable Qualifications:
38. Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
39. Teaching or Training qualification (e.g., PTLLS, AET, or equivalent)
40. Knowledge of current national standards and best practices in care delivery
41. Previous experience in learning disabilities, autism, and mental health support services
