A vehicle driver within a compound or port environment, A high level of of detail and car about moving around the role, the people in the role are professional as well as friendly. * Drive a range of vehicles (manual and automatic) safely within dock and compound areas * Park vehicles in designated storage areas following site plans * Carry out basic visual inspections for vehicle condition and damage * Follow all site safety procedures and traffic management systems * Work as part of a team to meet operational deadlines * Report any damage, faults, or incidents promptly * Comply with all health & safety regulations and procedures Requirements * Needs to be over 22 years of age * Full UK driving licence (typically held for at least 3 years) * Confident driving both manual and automatic vehicles * Ability to manoeuvre vehicles in tight and busy environments * Strong awareness of safety and attention to detail * Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions * Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Working Conditions * Fast-paced dockside environment with constant vehicle movement * Outdoor work/inside work in varying weather conditions * Shift-based schedule depending on vessel arrivals * Physically active role (walking between vehicles, standing for periods) Preferred (but not essential) * Previous experience in driving, logistics, or warehouse roles * Familiarity with port or vehicle handling environments * Basic understanding of vehicle inspections Key Skills * Safe and controlled driving * Teamwork and communication * Time management under pressure * Attention to detail
