BARNARDO'S SURREY FAMILY CENTRES
Barnardo's Family Centres across Surrey are Epsom and Ewell, Runnymede, Surrey Heath, Tandridge, Waverley and Woking.
We are looking for 2 posts locality working across Surrey, 1 post based in Woking and 1 post based in Epsom and Ewell.
Please note these positions requires locality work across Surrey and a driving license and access to a car are essential

You will be required to:
7. be a supportive contact for young people, families and professionals working to develop the Family Centre Emerging Needs offer
8. be committed to efficient triage and early identification of needs to ensure families receive the right help at the right time reducing the need for any delay to support
9. provide signposting and support through a bespoke programme of work, focused on current identified themes
10. work in partnership with the Family Support Worker team to develop and strengthen the Emerging Needs offer and identify efficient methods of collating evidence of impact and outcomes
11. Organise and hold events to enable families to share their voice and positively influence their community and outcomes for children and young people.
12. Facilitate group work with colleagues in the centre and within settings where
needed, including local schools, community centres.
13. You will be based at either Epsom & Ewell or Woking Family Centre, have your own car and be able to travel throughout the district.
The skills/knowledge/experience required are:
14. Experience working directly with children, young people and families
15. Experience in identifying, assessing the needs of children, young people and families and evidencing positive outcomes and impact
16. Experience delivering universal and targeted interventions on a one-to-one or group basis and evidencing the outcomes
17. Experience of partnership working with stakeholders, other agencies and community groups
18. Someone who is approachable, non-judgemental, friendly, kind, calm, creative and resilient.
19. Someone with excellent organisation and time-management skills.
20. Knowledge and experience of multi-agency working within formal systems of Child Protection.
21. Experience of detailed case recording and an understanding of the importance of keeping timely and accurate case notes.
22. Experience delivering groups and sessions.
As Barnardo's Family Centres we have supportive and inclusive teams. We are a fully funded service, commissioned by Surrey County Council, to deliver their Early Help Programme to families with children aged 0-19 (or 25 with SEND).
