Our Client seeks a Credit Control Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role due to growth and reports into the Head of Finance. The Credit ControlManager must work collaboratively with other departments to support the strategic plans for growth and value creation.
Duties of the Credit Control Manager include:
1. Allocate workload between the Credit Controllers and ensure customers are followed up in an appropriate and timely manner, as per the Credit Control Policy.
2. Maximise the reporting suites in Power BI and Aspire, together with other resources, to optimise the activity and priorities of the Credit Controllers to minimise arrears and debtor balances.
3. Monitor the quality of interactions with customers, vendors and 3rd parties and provide constructive and developmental feedback to the Credit Controllers.
4. Train, coach and develop the Credit Controllers to become experts in their role and passionate about achieving the overall aim of the department and strategy of the business.
5. Anticipate and monitor the workload in Credit Control in relation to the resource available and make appropriate recommendations.
6. Continually assess the effectiveness of policies and processes; recommend and implement ongoing improvements.
