Reed is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Personal Assistant to the Managing Director at a highly reputable client based in Liskeard. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who excels in managing both professional and personal tasks with high efficiency.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Office Management:Oversee on-site maintenance and cleaning to ensure all operational requirements are met.
* Executive Support:Provide comprehensive PA services to the Managing Director, encompassing both professional duties and personal errands.
* Leadership Support:Offer occasional PA services to the Chairman.
* Communication Handling:Manage telephone calls, ensuring they are transferred internally as required.
* Hospitality:Welcome visitors and clients, provide refreshments, and organise catering for meetings when necessary.
* Local Liaison:Maintain offsite duties, liaising with suppliers, trades, and tenants related to the Managing Director's property portfolio.
* Procurement:Handle the purchase of daily office essentials, manage the tuck shop, and procure ad hoc items for the Managing Director.
* Travel Management:Organise travel arrangements and documentation for personnel, clients, and overseas support as needed.
* Financial Oversight:Manage petty cash and oversee the distribution of post.
* Event Planning:Arrange social events and manage company vehicles, including liaising with the DVLA, and overseeing road tax, MOTs, and services.
* Insurance Management:Handle company insurance policies and liaise with insurance brokers for necessary submissions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role.
* A valid driving licence.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively under pressure.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adeptness with other office management tools.
