About the Role
As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll ensure the level of care we offer goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements.
This means taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence and supervising and coaching colleagues to provide a service that is unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.
Responsibilities
• Ensure that all care delivered meets higher-than-standard quality and regulatory expectations.
• Take day‑to‑day responsibility for resident care when the Home Manager is absent.
• Supervise, coach and support staff to deliver care with compassion and professionalism.
• Develop and maintain person‑led care plans in accordance with National Standards.
• Manage time effectively, keep meaningful records and communicate respectfully with residents and team members.
Qualifications
• Knowledge of National Standards and experience in person‑led care planning within a care home.
• Demonstrated positive energy, mentorship abilities and time‑management skills.
• Ability to communicate kindly and considerately with residents, families and colleagues.
What We Offer
Pay rate is subject to experience and qualifications. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8am‑5pm.
