Job Summary
We are recruiting an experienced Welder/Fabricator for our client based in Heathfield, Newton Abbot. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive hourly rate and regular weekday working hours — perfect for someone looking for stability in a well-established business.
Responsibilities
* Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
* Fabricate components from engineering drawings
* Operate standard workshop machinery and hand tools
* Complete bespoke and batch production work to a high standard
* Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times
Requirements
* Proven experience as a welder/fabricator
* Confident with MIG and TIG welding techniques
* Able to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and workmanship
* Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
