Job Description
In this role as Rapid Response Cleaner, you will be guaranteed 40 hours per week, covering a large area with a significant amount of driving each day. This role offers flexibility in scheduling to help balance work and personal commitments.
You’ll be equipped with brand-new tools and modern cleaning methods, plus a company van and fuel card for business use, along with a uniform, mobile phone, and PPE to help you work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Respond to Sector Manager requests as required.
2. Deliver all cleaning operations within your allocated sites according to the client specification and schedule.
3. Ensure familiarity with opening and lockup procedures for all contracts in your area of responsibility.
4. Undertake site familiarisation with new employees, detailing cleaning regimes, waste procedures, and airlock door processes.
5. Maintain storerooms in an organised manner and ensure stock is stored correctly.
6. Ensure adequate stocks of all materials and consumables are maintained and flag any issues to the relevant manager.
7. Adhere to client-specific security procedures and policies at all times.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
8. Cleaning experience is not essential; candidates from care, nurseries, warehouses, or similar backgrounds will be considered.
9. Training will be provided, focusing on introducing a new way of working.
10. Priority is adaptability and readiness to work rather than established cleaning habits.
11. Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple sites and schedules.
12. Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
