Examinations Officer (Full time and permanent)
37 Hours - 8.00AM- 4.00 PM (The post holder will be expected to work outside office hours. This will be discussed with the postholder as appropriate)

Salary Grade 6 (26-31) - £29,924 - £33,939
This large, successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with 1,700 pupils on the northern edge of Cardiff is seeking to make this appointment. Llanishen High School seeks an Examinations Officer to start in September 2026, on sooner.
The Examinations Officer will work within the exams team in the operation and administration of the examination system. All duties are carried out in accordance with the policies and procedures of Llanishen High School and external bodies, including qualification awarding bodies and the Joint Council for Qualifications.
Experience in the use of Software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel and databases and computerised information systems are essential.
Very good administrative and IT skills are required, together with an eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure.
The Examinations Officer is responsible for the administration and organisation of all aspects of internal and external examinations and the recruitment training and management of Examination Invigilators.
The Examinations Officer works closely with Heads of Subject and Heads of Year in addition to the Data Manager. The Examinations Officer will report into the Assistant Headteacher.
