Team Leader – Newton Abbot
Deliver a combination of direct support and management time, varying with service needs.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Service Manager to enable people to live their best lives by building confidence, resilience, and supporting positive expression.
* Provide leadership to the care team within Glassmoon Services Limited.
* Deliver care in accordance with best practice, legislative requirements, policies, procedures, and agreed standards.
* Supervise the allocated service in accordance with agreed standards.
* Support and enable People We Support to maintain skills and personal interests through person-centred care, aligned with a person‑led support delivery model.
* Maintain current skills, engaging with learning and development as required.
* Complete required systems and processes around safety, weekly and monthly checks, documents, and risk assessments.
* Participate in BILD and Restraint Reduction Network Community of Practice, striving for best practice.
Qualifications and Experience
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, with at least one year’s experience after completion.
* Willingness to work toward attainment of Leader in Adult Care, Level 5.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Satisfactory criminal record check.
