Summary
We are seeking an assistant Workshop Manager to join our team in TAMWORTH this pivotal role will help oversee our workshop operations, ensuring that ours and our customers fleet is maintained to the highest standards while contributing to our mission of providing exceptional logistics services.
Responsibilities
* Help oversee daily workshop operations and manage maintenance schedules for the fleet.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
* Help lead and mentor workshop staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
* Help manage inventory of parts and supplies necessary for vehicle maintenance.
* Implement new software and help with the training.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
* Develop strategies to improve workshop efficiency and reduce downtime.
* Handle budgeting and financial planning for workshop expenses.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.

* Proven experience in a customer based workshop maybe your first role into management is here?
* Take responsibility of staff and the workplace one day per week in the manager absence. Confident leader and organisation.
* Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Familiarity with safety regulations in vehicle maintenance.
