Freelance/ Contracted Field Engineer

We are currently recruiting Field Engineers to work within various regions around the UK.
About You:
1. This role will be largely field based and will often require you to travel to customer sites, so it is imperative you have a valid driving licence, have your own vehicle.
2. An understanding on the fundamental skills of being a field engineer.
3. Must have previous experience of hardware IT engineering.
4. Lots of opportunities ranging from flexible, ad-hoc shifts to short and long term contract opportunities.
5. Practical skills such as DIY experience would be highly beneficial
6. Ex- Military- Desirable
Main Responsibilities of the IT Field Engineers:
7. Attending customer sites to install/ resolve IT equipment
8. Working closely with the IT support desk to feedback on support calls and ongoing issues
9. Liaising with account managers and updating customers with the progress and resolution of issues

Skills Required
10. UK Driving Licence & own vehicle
11. Strong Interpersonal/Customer skills
12. A genuine passion for IT & a willingness to learn new skills

16. Logical approach to fault finding & diagnostics
17. MCP, Cisco or CompTIA Certification
