You will be working for a local constructionpany looking to add a Finance Manager to their experienced finance team.
Your new role
1. Responsibility for the day-to-day management of the finance department
2. Support the FD with operational and strategic organisation of the finance function, responsibility for management accounts process, management of finance team.
3. Line Management responsibility for small team including coaching
4. Responsible forpletion of monthly forecasts and 3YP as required by group timetables.
5. Collation of data to produce accurate forecasts
6. Maintain data for forecasting
7. Responsibility for the overall cash management of the business
8. Assist in managing the cost control of the division, including active participation in the monthly valuation process
9. Review sales revenues regularly
10. Review monthly management accounts and associated reconciliations.
11. Provide monthly board statistics.
12. Assist the sales team with weekly reporting and deal sheet authorisation.
13. Prepare consolidation pack for audit review.
14. Review annual accounts and annual tax submissions.
15. Liaise with other members of the finance team to facilitate the efficient running of the department.
16. Deputise for the Finance Director as and when necessary.
17. Deal with queries from Group/Region/Division as required.
What you'll need to succeed
18. You must have full right to work in the UK, with prior experience working within a UK finance team
19. You must be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with prior experience in amercial accounting role, ideally within construction
20. Experienced in collating budgets and monitoring against performance, including cost control.
21. Strong IT and financial analysis skills, coupled with the ability to interpret data and assess impacts on the business.
