Keyfab is a growing division within Keystone Group, providing structural steel design and fabrication solutions. Due to continued growth, we are seeking to recruit a Structural Engineer to join our technical team in Cookstown.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to gain experience across structural design, project management and commercial activities within a fast-paced and supportive environment.

The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in the design, analysis and delivery of structural steelwork projects, working closely with internal teams, senior engineers and clients to deliver practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Producing structural designs and engineering calculations for steelwork projects
* Interpreting architectural and structural drawings and specifications
* Preparing accurate and competitive technical quotations
* Designing both standard and bespoke steel solutions to suit project requirements
* Working closely with management and senior structural engineers
* Providing technical advice and support to clients
* Carrying out site visits to measure, gather information and resolve technical issues
* Preparing clear and structured technical reports
* Managing projects through the full lifecycle from initial enquiry to project completion
* Contributing to continuous improvement within the technical team

Candidate Requirements
We would like to hear from candidates who:
* Hold a degree in Structural Engineering
* Have experience using 2D and 3D CAD software and Tekla
* Have a strong understanding of structural design principles
* Are highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Have strong communication and customer service skills
* Are self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative
* Are ambitious and keen to develop their career within the structural engineering industry
