Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Buying Assistant to support our Buying team in developing and delivering commercially successful, colour-led collections. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, creative environment where colour is at the heart of every decision. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating product development, managing supplier communications, and ensuring accurate product data and timelines. This role offers the opportunity to develop your career in buying within a unique, colour-specialist fashion brand, where creativity and commercial thinking go hand in hand.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative and operational support to the Senior Buyer
* Assist in the planning and development of seasonal collections
* Maintaining and update product data and critical path timelines
* Liaise with suppliers regarding samples, pricing and delivery schedules
* Be aware of sales performance, stock levels, and intake to support trading decisions
* Support fit sessions
* Conduct competitor and market research to support seasonal planning.
* Ensure product information for product launches is accurate and work with the ecommerce team to correct any errors.
* Future opportunity to approve all colour lab dips and become a colour expert, with training provided.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a buying or fashion administrative role
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with good commercial awareness
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability
* Proficiency in Excel and confidence working with data
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build supplier relationships
* A genuine passion for fashion and a strong appreciation for colour and styling
