Private Client Tax Manager
Bridgnorth (Hybrid)
Salary up to £60,000 (Negotiable, depending on experience level)
Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting one of our clients who has an opportunity for a Tax Manager to join their growing team.
Role Requirements
* Manage a portfolio of over 500 clients, including High Net Worth Individuals and Trusts. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Oversee and review the preparation of Tax Returns, CGT Returns, IHT forms and various other private client compliance matters, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Provide expert advice on tax matters to clients, resolving any queries or issues they may have.
* Manage the tax department team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery together with appraisal, performance review and manage training needs of the team.
* Provide reports and ensure billing and recovery targets are met for the department.
* Liaise with HMRC and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients, ensuring all necessary forms and returns are submitted accurately and on time.
* Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional services to existing clients and develop new business leads.
Personal Requirements
* A minimum of five years' experience.
* CTA qualified, or equivalent in experience.
* Good understanding of UK tax regulations.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax software.
* Ability to lead a team.
* Strong organisational skills and staff, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
