Overview
The role
We are recruiting a Risk Manager to join a second line Technology Risk function within a well established UK bank. The role focuses on providing independent oversight and challenge across technology risk, including IT risk, cyber and information security, data risk, operational resilience and intra group services. You will work closely with first line teams and senior stakeholders, providing risk advisory support, contributing to regulatory engagement, and ensuring technology risks are effectively identified and managed.
Responsibilities
* Provide independent oversight and challenge across technology risk domains (IT risk, cyber and information security, data risk, operational resilience and intra group services).
* Work closely with first line teams and senior stakeholders, delivering risk advisory support.
* Contribute to regulatory engagement and ensure technology risks are effectively identified and managed.
Requirements
* Experience in a regulated environment, ideally financial services, with a background in technology risk or operational risk.
* Strong understanding of governance and control frameworks.
* Experience working with public cloud shared responsibility models, and the ability to translate technical issues into clear risk insight.
* Strong stakeholder management skills.
* Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC or CISSP are desirable but not required.
