Specification Sales Manager Steel Framing Job Title: Specification Sales Manager Steel Framing Industry Sector: Through The Wall Construction, Wall Performance, External Wall, Building Envelope, Main Contractors, Architects, Dry Lining Contractors, Faade Contractors and Steel Framing Contractors Area to be covered: North East & Yorkshire Remuneration: £55,000-£60,000 Neg. up to 30% Bonus Benefits: Fully expensed hybrid car & Full Benefits The role of the Specification Sales Manager Steel Framing will involve: Field sales position selling lightweight structural steel framing systems Project led role 50% new business development, 50% account managing existing projects Managing 100s of live projects at any one time at various stages of development from being deigned and drawn up to some systems already been delivered to construction sites 40% of your time selling into sub contractors, such as dryliners, faade contractors etc. 60% of your time winning specifications and influencing architects and main contractors Managing an area currently turning over between £1.5m-£2.5m Conducting CPDs to specification design managers and other key decision makers Maximising leads from installers plus managing key supply chain partnerships with main contractors Dealing with project sizes from a few hundred metres of wall elevation up to 30,000 square metres The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager Steel Framing with: Must have structural or technical specification field sales experience with architects / or main contractors Ideally with contacts within architects, main contractors and dryliners/ sub contractors on patch Ideally knowledge of through the wall construction/ wall performance field, fire resistance/ fire testing etc. Preferably from a blue chip construction manufacturer background such as insulation, cladding, plasterboard, facades, rainscreens, renders, curtain walling, steel framing, timber frame, off-site systems, windows, dry lining etc. contractors, such as dryliners, faade contractors and specialist steel framing contractors Ideally understands concept of U-Value calculations, acoustic value, MMC Thermal, and how they all interface Strong Presentation skills The Company: Established 90 years Part of large group £50m turnover Mitchell Maguire is a specialist construction field sales recruitment consultancy, dealing exclusively with construction field sales jobs, construction field sales vacancies and specification field sales positions within:: External wall, Through the wall, Facades, Rainscreens, Renders, Curtain Walling, Steel Framing, Timber Frame, Modular systems, Window Manufacturers, Internal Dry Lining, Roofing, Glazing, Cladding, Protective Coatings, and all other associated building envelope systems.
