Job Description: Full-time, Permanent We're looking for a highly motivated and professional Team Leader to join a well-established and respected technical service team, supporting world-class power-related electronic equipment. This is a fast-paced and demanding role, ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a proactive mindset. You will play a key role in ensuring high standards of service delivery across site, workshop, and office environments. The Role Reporting to the Legacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of engineers while maintaining exceptional service standards. Your responsibilities will include: Representing the organisation professionally when attending customer sites Ensuring full compliance with internal and customer health and safety regulations Preparing for site visits, including completion of RAMS documentation and understanding customer requirements Diagnosing and resolving faults using technical expertise and diagnostic tools Communicating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining strong working relationships Maintaining high workshop standards, ensuring a clean, safe, and organised environment Inspecting, testing, and signing off repaired units both in the workshop and on-site Ensuring engineers operate in accordance with safety standards Managing stock control, including cycle counts and accurate inventory records Conducting monthly site and workshop inspections, reporting findings appropriately Completing service reports, expenses, and documentation accurately and on time About You To be successful in this role, you will have: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation/Maintenance or a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (ideally via apprenticeship) A recognised Level 3 Electrical Testing and Inspection qualification (e.g. C&G 2391, 2391-10, or C&G 2394/2395) A full UK driving licence Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings Proficiency in electrical testing equipment At least 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role, with solid knowledge of Aviation Ground Power Units and Ground Support Equipment The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks Eligibility to obtain military and airside security clearance (including a clean 5-year employment history) Willingness to travel, including working away from home and occasional overseas assignments The ability to perform under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude What We Offer Competitive Salary The opportunity to work within a highly skilled and supportive technical team Exposure to advanced and specialised equipment A varied role across multiple working environments Ongoing training and development opportunities
