This role also plays a significant part in looking after The Old Manor at Norbury, a small medieval manor house set along the beautiful landscape of the River Dove.Click here for more information about this locationAs the Collections and House Officer, you'll be responsible for routine & preventive conservation, as well as the annual programme of deep cleaning. Your attention and expertise will help to ensure excellent standards of care throughout the Hall, whilst contributing to long-term conservation plans and projects. You will have an understanding & awareness of the practicalities of collections management and how to approach accreditation priorities.This role will also play a part in encouraging an audience-led approach to conservation, enabling vital access to our historic collection and stories through displays & exhibitions.You will be managed by the Collections & House Manager, working alongside another Collections & House Officer and 3 Collections Assistants.
