Purpose of the Role
Deliver high-quality social work services to adults within the community, supporting individuals with a wide range of needs and disabilities while ensuring statutory compliance and promoting independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide timely, effective social work services in line with statutory guidance
* Conduct safeguarding assessments, evaluate mental capacity, and manage deprivation of liberty cases
* Assess and manage risk, ensuring adherence to the Care Act 2024 principles
* Develop and implement comprehensive, strengths-based support plans
* Collaborate with individuals, carers, families, and multi-agency teams
* Contribute to service objectives and strategic priorities as outlined in the council\'s service plan
