Overview:
Our client, a reputable and growing workshop repair and recovery business, is seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is an exciting, hands-on role that offers variety in day-to-day tasks, including recovery work and the opportunity to earn additional income through overtime and call-outs.
This role is ideal for someone hardworking and mechanically experienced, looking to become part of a close-knit and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to diagnose faults and identify necessary repairs.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
Use hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and software.
Maintain accurate records of all work completed.
Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely and high-quality repair completion.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience (preferred).
Proficient in the use of automotive hand and power tools.
Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and customers.
