Belcan has an exciting permanent opportunity for a talented Electronics Project Design Engineer to join our growing team in Cheltenham. You’ll be at the heart of dynamic, small-to-medium sized projects—ranging from full industrial control installations to cutting-edge system test facilities, automatic test equipment, and electro-mechanical systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading electronics design and compliance tasks (FPGA, analogue & digital design)
* Supporting PCB design (schematic capture, layout, FMEA/component rating analysis)
* Driving innovation across diverse engineering challenges
What You’ll Bring
* Strong CAD design skills (SolidWorks or similar)
* Ability to design and test circuits from first principles
* Familiarity with configuration controls & PLM tools (engineering data management)
* Experience with Altium, VHDL, Libero – Microsemi
* Proven project management experience
