Join to apply for the Programme Coordinator role at Archadeck of Nova Scotia
Are you a qualified teacher with SEN experience and a flair for leadership? Looking to move beyond the traditional classroom and make a real impact? We are a forward‑thinking provider of bespoke education packages for young people who are autistic, have learning disabilities, and/or experience social, emotional and mental health needs. Our tailored approach breaks down barriers to traditional learning by delivering personalized education in the settings where learners feel most comfortable – at home, in the community, and within college environments.
About the Role
Working on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis, you’ll help equip learners with essential life skills as they transition into adulthood. Our unique curriculum, built around Preparation for Adulthood pathways, gives learners the opportunity to apply knowledge in meaningful, real‑world situations. Based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire (and also in Leicestershire), you’ll be responsible for designing and overseeing individual learning programmes tailored to each learner’s interests, needs and aspirations. Using EHCP outcomes as a framework, you’ll guide the planning, delivery, and assessment of learning while ensuring clear progress is documented.
As a leader, you’ll manage a team of dedicated Community Teaching Assistants, ensuring high standards throughout the learning cycle. You’ll offer training, ongoing guidance, and constructive feedback, audit progress records and observe teaching practices. You will also deliver direct teaching one day per week (or equivalent), providing an opportunity to model best practice and reflect on your own teaching skills.
