Location: Cheshunt, Hertfordshire
Contract: Full-time

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your career? Do you have the skills and enthusiasm to support students and lead learning in a secondary school environment?
We are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting students' academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead small group interventions and provide one-to-one support where needed.
* Plan, deliver, and assess structured learning activities under the direction of the teacher.
* Cover lessons in the absence of the teacher, ensuring high-quality learning continues.
* Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those who require additional guidance.
* Assist in assessing students’ progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
* Promote a positive learning environment, encouraging student engagement and confidence.
What Were Looking For:
* HLTA qualification (or equivalent) or extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant with the ability to lead learning.
* Experience working with secondary school students, including those with SEN.
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
* A proactive, adaptable, and supportive approach to education.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; additional qualifications in education or child development are an advantage.
