The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction, manufacturing, or service projects in the UK. They work closely with clients, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to analyse project requirements, gather necessary data, and prepare detailed financial forecasts. The goal is to ensure that projects are cost-efficient and within budget, while also helping the company secure new business.

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably in construction or electrical / civil engineering.
Experience in first principle build up of estimates for 132kV Substation packages of work including new build GIS
Demonstrable experience of working with the planning function to create accurate and timely P6 cost loaded programmes.
Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical skills to assess costs and project viability.
IT Skills: Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Time Management: Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Knowledge: Familiarity with UK building regulations, health and safety laws, and industry standards.
