In this role, you will be a vital part of a busy conveyancing team, providing essential support in managing property transactions from instruction to completion. The Role:
* Assisting fee earners with the management of residential property files, including both freehold and leasehold sales.
* Drafting legal documents, preparing contract packs, and managing client communications.
* Conducting pre-completion checks, managing post-completion formalities, and maintaining accurate file records.
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties to ensure a smooth conveyancing process.
* Supporting the team with administrative tasks, including diary management and document filing.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience as a Conveyancing Assistant, specifically handling freehold and leasehold sales files.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A proactive, client-focused approach with a keen eye for detail.
* Familiarity with conveyancing software and case management systems is a plus.
