The Opportunity
As an Asbestos Operative, you will carry out any asbestos related work as indicated by your supervisor.
Responsibilities
* Carry out all asbestos related tasks, including removal and disposal of materials in accordance with regulations
* Record work activity carried out in relation to all asbestos tasks and any disposed materials
* Carry out encapsulation (including the building of tunnelling/tenting) and the necessary air testing and recording
* To be responsible for own compliance to the Company\'s Health & Safety Procedures and Health & Safety legislation
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Proven experience is asbestos removal
* Asbestos Operative certificate, asbestos medical certificate, face-fits
Desirable
* Manual handling, first aid, PASMA training, confined spaces, working at heights
