Warehouse supervisor

PE Global is recruiting a Warehouse (Materials) Supervisor for a leading global industrial and technology organisation.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Location: Gloucester

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of Storekeepers and Materials Specialists.
• Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through SAP/WMS reconciliation and cycle counting.
• Manage purchase order closures and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor and act on exception reports to maintain data integrity.
• Support inventory optimisation initiatives and intercompany transfers.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.
• Produce KPI reports and drive continuous improvement activities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or materials management supervisory role.
• Strong SAP experience (MM, WM, or EWM preferred).
• Good Excel and computer skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organised with a focus on accuracy and operational excellence.
