Internal applications for this role close on 28/3/25. What is the role about? The Outreach Co-ordinator is required to support the growth and development of the One You contract. They are critical to the successful delivery of Reed Wellbeing’s world class evidence-based health and wellbeing behavioural lifestyle interventions. *Please note the role requires face to face delivery across Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, so you need to be local to those areas Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include Business Development Identify key contacts in partner organisations (all types) who are in a position to provide either direct referrals or access to individuals who may self-refer. Present Reed Wellbeing’s services in the wider community, and partner organisations. Targeting identified at risk groups and areas of high deprivation. Presenting at events or remotely to partners and the general public. Identify new areas for engagement to ensure the achievement of referral targets and programme participants. Remote Marketing and Communications Support and develop our online presence across social media platforms Research and create timely content for social media, working with the marketing and team to execute adverts and promotional material such as blogs, podcasts and videos. Customer Service and Relationship Management Ensures partner and referral organisation requirements and expectations are always met. Troubleshooting any issues as and when they arise professionally and at speed. Co-ordinates staff or volunteer activities to ensure smooth, professional and compelling engagement. Represents Reed Wellbeing at any additional meetings as required. Service Delivery and Recovery Offers the operations teams and partners sufficient quality information to inform forecasting of flows. Represents engagement function at internal operations meetings as required. Works effectively with general public, local authorities, GP surgeries, pharmacies, community groups to ensure engagement is high quantity and high quality. Ensure maximum referrals are gained at event. Administrative Duties Entering any necessary or relevant detail into databases. Support the collection and write up of Good News Stories. Deliver engagement projects, such as contacting participants who have failed to attend to attempt re-engagement or investigating reasons of disengagement. Conducting follow up calls to participants capturing experience and feedback from the service, outcomes and impactful case studies for promotion. Self-development & Continuous Improvement Attend and participate in both initial training and ongoing continuous professional development interventions to acquire and develop relevant professional competence. Maintain up to date and relevant knowledge and skills through proactive continuous professional development activities Suggest design improvement, or adaptions, or additions to service delivery, through constructive feedback to the senior management team. To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with Essential Attainments: Competent Excel skills, with the demonstrated capability to understand, monitor and analyse spreadsheets. Excellent telephone manner, persuasive and friendly, with a track record of success in achieving results from initial telephone contact. Ability to positively sell the features and benefits of a programme in an engaging manner to multiple audiences both on a one to one and formal large scale presentation basis. Essential Criteria: Ability to establish an effective and appropriate rapport with programme participants who need to achieve and maintain lifestyle changes (eg. Stopping smoking) An understanding of and/or interest in health-related related behaviour change. Active listening skills whilst maintaining a non-judgemental perspective on participant’s lifestyle and health. Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with people at all levels, both informally and in formal presentation settings, building long-term productive relationships. Demonstrable time management and personal organisation skills with the capacity to monitor, evaluate and report on work carried out. Good research skills, with demonstrated ability to think innovatively, suggest and implement improvements to get the best results. Organised and methodical with attention to capturing detail. Team player, willing to work flexibly to achieve the goals of the programme. Willingness to undertake evening and weekend work as required. Able to travel extensively across the contract area. Desirable Criteria: Experience planning and delivering outreach in communities. Experience in health promotion. Digital marketing experience. Experience in using coaching skills to help individuals to improve their health and/or physical fitness. Experience of using behavioural techniques to help individuals improve their health and/or physical fitness Fluency in community languages. Community languages may include: Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Somali, Vietnamese, Dari, Yoruba, Turkish, French, Spanish, Albanian, Arabic, Bengali, Farsi, Guajarati, Polish, Serbian and Greek (dependent on location of service delivery). An understanding of current NCSCT guidelines and good practice for smoking cessation interventions. An understanding of the lifestyle and behaviour challenges that can impact on a participant making necessary changes to bring about sustained health improvement (e.g. Weight loss increased physical activity, reduction in alcohol intake). Demonstrated capability to work with MS Office packages and basic databases; capable of maintaining accurate and up to date records in paper and electronic systems to a high standard.
