As a result, we have an exceptionally energised and committed talent base, all of us proud of our welcoming and supportive culture, as evidenced by our recognition as one of Campaign’s Best Places to Work for five years in a row, Media Week's Agency of the Year 2025 and one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025.

Overview

We are hiring a Data Director to play a pivotal role in shaping how data and measurement drive growth for one of the world’s most influential brands, Samsung. This is a senior leadership role focused on building strong data foundations that enable better marketing decisions and more connected activation. You’ll work across a complex, global ecosystem, bringing clarity, momentum and confidence to teams navigating transformation. If you enjoy combining strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery, this role offers real scope to make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

* Lead data and measurement initiatives across first‑party data, tagging, identity and D2C transformation from strategy through delivery.
* Create practical, scalable approaches that improve measurement readiness, data quality and activation.
* Partner closely with senior client and agency stakeholders to translate business priorities into clear data roadmaps.
* Drive collaboration across analytics, media, client and technical teams to move complex workstreams forward.
* Strengthen governance and consistency across tagging, measurement and related data programmes.
* Turn technical detail into clear, actionable recommendations that support confident decision‑making.
* Help shape a culture of accountability, collaboration and solution‑focused thinking across the team.

Qualifications

* Experience leading data, measurement, digital strategy or transformation work in complex environments.
* Strong understanding of first‑party data, tagging, measurement and identity, and how these support activation and insight.
* Confidence working with senior stakeholders, communicating clearly across technical and non‑technical audiences.
* A strategic mindset combined with a practical, hands‑on approach to delivery.
* Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and prioritise effectively across competing demands.
* Experience collaborating across analytics, media, client and technical teams.
* A collaborative leadership style, with credibility built through clarity, trust and impact.

Benefits

Starcom offers a wide range of benefits to support our employees. Full details are shared when you join, but highlights include core benefits such as Pension, Life Assurance, and Private Medical cover, alongside enhanced policies like Reflection Days and Shared Parental Leave. You’ll also have access to a range of additional initiatives.

Equal Opportunity and Accessibility

At Starcom, we are proud to be an equal opportunities employer. We welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, and do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion or belief, disability, age, citizenship, relationship status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic. We are committed to providing a fair, accessible, and inclusive recruitment process. If you have any access needs – for example, related to disability, neurodivergence, or a health condition – please let us know. We’ll work with you to ensure the process works for you. Sharing this information will never impact your application. Guided by our values, we listen with empathy, uplift each other, take responsibility, and embrace change - building a culture where everyone feels seen, respected, and genuinely included.
