Job Description:
We are searching for an experienced Audit Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. The Quality Assurance Department (QAD) is responsible for performing an annual programme of testing to ensure controls are effective, compliant with regulations, and internal procedures are followed. This involves reviewing completed engagements, providing feedback, and promoting quality and excellence in service delivery. QAD is a respected department within the firm.
We offer a flexible hybrid-working model, with opportunities for travel to UK offices as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
* Completing audit assurance reviews focused on large corporate and listed entities
* Supporting other QA reviewers and managers in audits
* Conducting QA reviews to provide assurance to the audit business
* Providing feedback and examples of good practice for continuous improvement
* Collaborating with the Quality Assurance Director to improve department effectiveness
Ideal candidate profile:
* ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent
* Experience with large corporate and listed audit engagements in a managerial role
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
